Josh, the son, finished up his Senior year of High School May 2023 and is now a Fabrication Welder for a large company here in town and thoroughly enjoys his new job.

 

Josh and I were able to enjoy a trip around some of the Eastern states the summer of 2022, but Josh has not been west of the Mississippi. Prior to Sarah and my trip out West in 2021, neither Sarah or I had been west of the Mississippi River either and decided it was way past time to see all those beautiful things I had only seen in photos.  Josh enjoyed seeing Sarah and my photos so much, he and I decided that after his graduation and before he started work, that we would take a shorter version of the trip Sarah and I took.

 

Sarah and I took 3 weeks and made it all the way to the California coast; Josh and I were only able to take 2 weeks and only went as far West as the Salt Flats in Utah.  Both trips were a very large circle around the US, which had us driving thru many states.  Both trips were also very close to the same route on purpose so Josh could see the same sites that Sarah got to see.  I, of course thoroughly enjoyed being able to see them all again, they're all so beautiful.
